Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the silverarrowapp.com website (the “Site”), operated by Project Research LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information. The Site is the informational website for our Silver Arrow privacy software. Building software that protects people’s privacy only means something if we hold our own website to the same standard, so our approach here is simple: the Site is informational, not a data collection service.
1. We do not collect personal information through this website
silverarrowapp.com currently consists of informational and marketing pages only. The Site does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information from visitors. Specifically, the Site has:
- No comment sections or message boards
- No user accounts, logins, or registration
- No email signups, newsletters, or contact forms
- No advertising and no advertising trackers
- No third-party analytics that profile or identify you
2. Cookies and tracking
The Site does not use cookies, pixels, fingerprinting, or similar technologies to track you or build a profile of your activity.
3. Standard server logs
Like virtually every website, our web hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested — such as IP address, browser type, and the date and time of access. This information is generated and retained by the hosting provider for security and reliable operation of the server. We do not use it to identify, track, or market to you, and we do not combine it with any other information about you.
4. The Silver Arrow software is covered separately
This policy applies to the silverarrowapp.com website only. The Silver Arrow browser extension and browser application are separate products with their own privacy behavior and their own privacy disclosures, provided where those products are distributed. Please refer to those disclosures for information about how the software itself handles data.
SilverArrow is available as a browser extension for Chrome, Brave, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari, as a mobile app for Android and iOS, and as a full privacy browser for Windows and Mac. Project Research LLC is an official Mozilla Firefox Extension Developer.
All rights are reserved to Project Research LLC in the SilverArrow source code, tracker-domain and blocklist data files (JSON and otherwise), and all original music, animations, video, and other creative assets appearing on this Site or within the SilverArrow software. See our Terms of Use for the full ownership and intellectual property terms.
5. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure
In the interest of transparency, and consistent with FTC guidance on disclosing the use of AI in content and advertising, we disclose that artificial intelligence tools are used in connection with this Site, our software, and our social media presence. Specifically:
- Content and code: Portions of this website’s text, source code, and visual design were drafted or assisted by AI language models (including Anthropic’s Claude).
- Imagery and video: Some images, graphics, and video assets appearing on this Site and across our social media channels (X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) are AI-generated or AI-assisted.
- Product behavior: The Silver Arrow software’s tracker- and cookie-blocking behavior is rule-based, not AI-driven. If a future release adds an AI-driven feature, that feature will be separately disclosed here and in the applicable extension store listing before release.
All AI-assisted content is reviewed by Project Research LLC before publication. If you believe any AI-assisted content on this Site is inaccurate or misleading, please contact us @ admin@projectresearchllc.com.
6. AI Governance
This AI Governance section applies to Project Research LLC and to all SilverArrow products across every platform and version we build or distribute, including but not limited to: the SilverArrow Chrome extension, the SilverArrow Firefox desktop extension, the SilverArrow Safari extension, the SilverArrow Firefox mobile extension, the SilverArrow Safari mobile extension, the SilverArrow Safari mobile app, the SilverArrow Android mobile app, the standalone SilverArrow privacy browser, and any other current or future SilverArrow project (collectively, the “SilverArrow Products”).
We apply the following principles wherever artificial intelligence is used, in this Site or in any SilverArrow Product:
- Human oversight. AI-assisted content, code, and product decisions are reviewed by a person at Project Research LLC before publication or release. AI tools do not publish, ship, or make final decisions on their own.
- Rule-based core protection. The tracker- and cookie-blocking behavior at the core of every SilverArrow Product is rule-based, not AI-driven. If a future release introduces an AI-driven feature into any SilverArrow Product, that feature will be disclosed here, in the product interface, and in the applicable extension or app store listing before it ships.
- Data minimization. Because SilverArrow Products and this Site are built to collect nothing, no user data is available to feed into, or train, any AI system we use. AI tools used in our development process do not have access to SilverArrow user data, because that data does not exist to give them.
- No AI-driven profiling of users. We do not use AI to build profiles of, score, or make automated decisions about individual users of this Site or any SilverArrow Product.
- Vendor accountability. Where we use third-party AI tools (for example, Anthropic’s Claude) to assist with development, content, or design, we remain fully responsible for the resulting output — that responsibility is never delegated to the AI tool or its provider.
- Ongoing review. We review this AI Governance section as our products and our use of AI tools evolve, and we update it — along with the “Effective date” above — when that use changes materially.
See Section 5 above for our specific AI Disclosure, and our Terms of Use for the AI-related terms governing your use of this Site.
7. Data Use Summary (“Privacy Nutrition Label”)
Modeled after the Apple App Store and Google Play data-safety labels, here is a plain-language summary of what this website collects:
- Data Collected: None.
- Data Linked to You: None.
- Data Used to Track You: None.
This summary covers the silverarrowapp.com marketing website only. The Silver Arrow browser extension and browser application publish their own data-use disclosures on their respective extension store listings (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, Apple App Store), since each store defines its own data-use categories and permissions model. See our Store & AI Disclosures page for a summary of those.
8. Analytics and Advertising Technologies
This Site does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any comparable analytics or advertising pixel. If we add any such technology in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy first, describe what is collected and why, and — where required by law — provide a way to opt out.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
Because this Site does not collect personal information, there is no personal information for California residents to request access to, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). If this changes, this section will be updated with instructions for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.
10. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience. Because the Site does not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children, including children under 13. If you believe any personal information has somehow been provided to us, please contact us and we will address it.
11. Links to other websites
The Site may link to third-party websites and application stores (for example, to download our software). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — including when we add new features such as accounts or downloads. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
