Store & AI Disclosures

This page collects, in one place, the disclosures that should appear on every SilverArrow extension or app store listing — Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons (AMO), and Apple App Store Connect (for the Safari extension) — so they stay consistent with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use published on this website. It is reference copy for whoever manages those listings, not a store listing itself.

AI Disclosure (all stores)

SilverArrow discloses the use of artificial intelligence consistent with FTC guidance on AI use in advertising and content:

• Portions of our marketing website, store listing copy, and promotional imagery/video are AI-generated or AI-assisted.
• The SilverArrow extension’s tracker- and cookie-blocking behavior is rule-based, not AI-driven, as of this writing.
• Any future AI-driven feature (for example, an AI-assisted privacy summary or recommendation) will be disclosed here and in the in-product interface before release.

Chrome Web Store — Privacy practices tab

Suggested answers for the Chrome Web Store Developer Dashboard “Privacy practices” questionnaire:

• Single purpose description: Blocks tracking scripts, tracking URLs, fingerprint sync IDs, and persistent (“super”) cookies to protect user privacy while browsing.
• Permission justification (host permissions): Required to inspect and block tracking requests and cookies on the pages the user visits; used only for that purpose and never to read, store, or transmit page content.
• Data usage: Does not sell or transfer user data to third parties; does not use data for purposes unrelated to the extension’s core privacy function; does not use data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
• Certify compliance with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies before submitting.

Firefox Add-ons (AMO) — Privacy policy field

Paste a summary such as: “SilverArrow does not collect, store, or transmit browsing data, personal information, or telemetry. All tracker- and cookie-blocking happens locally in your browser. See our full Privacy Policy for details, including our AI disclosure.”

Apple App Store Connect — Privacy Nutrition Label

For the Safari extension / iOS app listing, Apple’s App Privacy questionnaire asks which data types are collected and whether they are linked to identity or used for tracking. Based on the current, rule-based version of SilverArrow:

• Data Used to Track You: None.
• Data Linked to You: None.
• Data Not Linked to You: None.

i.e., select “Data Not Collected” for the app as a whole, unless a future release adds analytics, crash reporting, or an account system — at which point this section and the corresponding App Store Connect declaration must be updated together, before that release ships.

Google Play Data Safety section (Android, future release)

If/when the Android app referenced in our README ships, its Play Console Data Safety form should mirror the same answer: no data collected, no data shared, unless that changes — in which case this page and the Play Store declaration must be updated together.

Keeping this page accurate

Whoever manages a store listing should update this page (and the corresponding store declaration) whenever a release changes what the extension/app accesses, stores, or transmits — including adding analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), an advertising pixel (e.g. Meta Pixel), or any AI-driven feature. Inaccurate data-safety declarations can result in listing rejection or suspension by the store.
